Young Creative Talents in Semiconductor Industry

SK Hynix has world-class technological competitiveness and growth potential. Hanyang University has proved the superiority
of its Industry-Coupled Problem-Based Learning (IC-PBL) model. Based on a win-win approach, SK Hynix and Hanyang are pursuing
cooperation to establish a new department, the “Department of Semiconductor Engineering (DoSE)” as a cradle for fostering
the best creative talents who will lead the world of semiconductors.

 

The Department of Semiconductor Engineering (DoSE) is a contractual department set up by SK Hynix
to nurture and champion core talents for future semiconductor industry, pursuant to the “Industrial Education Enhancement and
Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Promotion Act”
. The department is based on a collaboration-based educational system for
experts with creative problem-solving skills essential to the current industry and in favor of SK Hynix.

Actively reflecting SK Hynix’s needs, the DoSE will recruit and train high caliber students to nurture creative problem-solving skills
and practical knowledge by means of the innovative learner-centered model based on the vertical convergence of semiconductor circuit design,
devices and processes, which are core factors of the industry.

The DoSE also offers the best learning environment, including field-oriented, newest technology-based curriculum, practice infrastructure
and internship programs, by a customized system that is different from the other departments, cultivating talents who can lead future technology.

We aim to foster creative young talents who can and will lead the Industry 4.0 and future semiconductor studies.
